Chocolate Protein Seed Bars Recipe

Ingredients

  • 150 g salted butter
  • 250 g water
  • 250 g vanilla protein powder
  • 125 g sunflower seeds
  • 125 g oats
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 6 cardamom pods
  • 75 g dark chocolate
  • 125 g dried cranberries, chopped

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 160 C. Blend or chop the sunflower seeds until you've got a roughly chopped texture, and add to a large mixing bowl. Add the oats and the ground cinnamon to the mixing bowl too. Using a serrated knife, cut the cardamom pods in half to obtain the little brown/black seeds hidden inside. Grind the seeds to a fine powder, then add to the mixing bowl.
